ABOUT
Hey guys! My name is Cole Hughes and I am a video creative out of the Texas/Oklahoma area of the United States. I run my personal company titled Cornerstone Creations Pro LLC and I have been in the industry for 7+ years. I also serve as the Creative Media/IT Director at my church. For many of my projects handle all aspects of the video production process. Working in this manner has taught me how to do each job in production to the best of my ability. Although, the specific production roles I pinpoint my personal interest in is cinematography and the post-production features that go along with it. I am available for hire worldwide as a DP/cinematographer/editor or as a one-man band video agency.
I went to college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University where I played basketball and received a degree in computer information systems. I’ve spent a lot of my work life in technology beginning with help desk as a teenager and now also in the church, including handling the IT infrastructure. I also direct our live broadcast events at FBC Durant for television and streaming on a weekly basis. Through my clientele work, I’ve gotten to do many different things and be around some amazing people. With an interest in visual storytelling, I also enjoy photography. As a creative director, I’ve also had my fair share in graphic design, web/app development, and visual advertising methods.
I believe everyone is designed to use their heart, mind, and soul to create in the image of God. Motion picture is my favorite form of art to express this. Whether it be a documentary, commercial, social short, feature, or YouTube. I love the technical and innovative characteristics of making a film. Sharing the end result with viewers is a wholesome, lofty experience that warms the heart and keeps the creative passion alive - “that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” - 2 Timothy 3:17.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I chip away at a Bible YouTube channel from time to time. I also love to play and watch sports, and I certainly love watching movies. I get to appreciate the thrilling pleasure of riding my Onewheel (it also works as an incredible dolly)! Lastly, I enjoy the process of learning new things and learning how I can be better at what I do in work and life.

Cinema Reel
A compilation of a some things I've shot over the past few years. There's much more footage but these are the clips I decided worthy enough to make the short cut. It's a mixture of client work and some personal stuff too. I focused on the cinematics and let the pictures do the talking. Many of these scenes have a gritty look to them which is a color grading technique I'm personally fond of. Upon reflecting on everything I've shot over the past several years, I realized I've done a lot of interviews/talking heads. So I montaged many of them together for the back half of the video. Over 350 people appear in this reel. I was personally operating the camera for almost every shot as well. The majority of these productions included myself as the solo producer - directing the photography, talent, sound supervising, gaffing, prepping, editing, and delivering. Thank you to everyone who has worked with me and supported me! We'll see what the future holds.
